Simplicity 1717; ©1947; One-piece dress including belt and slightly lowered armhole. The bodice is dart fitted at the front and back shoulders and gathered at the waistline. Buttons close the back opening. Good looking pleats travel around the skirt at back opening is used. The shaped belt is interesting and will ad a novel look. Style 1 is made with long gathered sleeves joined to a buttoned wristband. A roll collar finishes the neck. Style 2 displays a brief sleeve and on the bodice, two buttoned pockets. Contrasting detachable collar and cuff many be used.
