Simplicity 1733; ©1946; Children's and Girl's Blouses: In Styles I and II a drawstring controls the fullness of the neck and sleeves. Contrasting piping edges the neck and sleeves in Style I. Style II is made with short sleeves and braid trims the neck opening. A tape band cinches the waist. Style III and IV are made with a front yoke releasing gathers and buttons travel down the back closing. In Style III, the contrasting collar is edged with a self ruffle and a bow trims the neck. The sleeve is long. In Style IV the neckline is square and the minute sleeve is puffed. Rick rack outlines the sleeve, yoke and neckline.
