Simplicity 1744; ©1946; Misses' One-Piece Dress. The bodice is cleverly contrived with soft gathers at the center front. The round neckline has a center front slash. The skirt is styled with side gathers at front and back. In Style I a purchased belt cinches the waist and the sleeves are long. In Style II, the cuffed bracelet length sleeve and neckband are trimmed with contrast. For a brighter touch, sequins may be added to the contrast. A self fabric belt is used.
