Simplicity 1776; 1940s; Teen-Age One Piece Dress: The raglan sleeve dress is made with soft gathers at the neckline front. A slide fastener closes the back neck opening. The skirt is generously gathered and joins the bodice at the natural waistline with an inset belt. Style I is made with push-up sleeves finished with binding and the neckline is bound to match. A purchased belt may be used. In Style II, skirt, roll collar and bands on the cap sleeves are made in contrast.
