Simplicity 1842; ©1946; Children's and Girls' Dresses: The dress is made with short, puffed sleeves and a back-button closing. A Peter Pan collar trims the neck. The front is joined to a smooth yoke and trimmed with rows of smocking to release soft fullness. The skirt is gathered in back where it joins the bodice at the waistline under a tie belt. In Style 1 the collar is trimmed with embroidery. Transfer for smocking and embroidery included.
