Simplicity 1855; ©1946; Misses' and Women's One-Piece Wrap-Around Dress: The dress wraps around to the back and is fashioned at the neck edge. The bodice is fitted with waistline tucks and a shoulder yoke releases soft front gathers. Two shaped patch pockets trim the skirt front and tie ends fasten into a front bow at the waistline. In Style I, a ruffle outlines the yoke and pocket edges, and the sleeves are short. Eyelet embroidery is used for armhole ruffling in Style II and embroidery trims the shoulder and pockets. A transfer design for embroidery is included.
