Simplicity 1869; ca. 1940s; Two Piece Dress. The top has tucks at the front shoulder and darts at the back shoulder. It gathers to a lapped peplum in front and back and is finished with a V neckline. The fronts lap and are stitched underneath. The skirt, styled with 4 panels in front and 3 in back joins to a waistband. In style 1, the 3/4 sleeves are gathered to a sleeveband at the lower edge. Style 2 has a slightly lowered armhole and short sleeves. Saddle stitching accents the bodice front, sleeves, peplum and belt. The skirt front features 3 slot seams.
