Simplicity 1928; 1940s; Misses' and Women's Two-Piece Dress: The top is fitted with tucks at the center front and darts at the back waistline. A center front seam and extended shoulders are featured. The gathered peplum joins to the bodice at the waistline. A self fabric belt may be used. The skirt, fitted with darts at the back waistline, has center seams and joins to a waist band. Style I has a top of contrasting fabric. In Style II, the skirt front has an opening at the lower edge.
