Simplicity 1943

Simplicity 1943; ©1947; Misses' and Women's Dress and Jacket: The bodice, styled with a front yoke, is fitted with darts and tucks. The high round neckline fastens in back with a slide fastener. The sleeve and bodice are cut in one and the skirt is seamed down the front and back. A purchased or self belt is used. The front-buttoning jacket has darts and features a collar, flap pockets and long cuffed sleeves. In Style I, the yoke is outlined with hand stitching. Style II has a bias fold inserted between the yoke and bodice front. Hand stitching trims the collar and cuffs.
