Simplicity 1946; ©1947; Children’s One Piece Dress and Panties: The front buttoning dress styles with princess lines has tie ends that join in the side seams and form a bow at the center back. The sailor collar has a ruffle trim. Panties, cut in two sections, have elastic casing at the upper edge. In style I, the collar and pocket flaps are contrasting fabric and are outlined with ruffling and rick rack. In style II, the collar is trimmed with embroidered edging and puffed sleeves finish the dress. In Style II and III, the sleeves are puffed and embroidered edging trims the collar which may be made of contrasting fabric.
