Simplicity 1977 ©1947. Woman's One Piece Sun Dress and jacket: The side buttoning dress is supported by shoulder straps that are cut in one with the bodice back. The bodice is fitted with darts at the front underarm and back waistline and gathers at he front waistline. There is a fold a he upper edge of the bodice from which tie ends extend to form a bow. The skirt, cut in six sections, has front pleats A purchased or self belt may be used. The dart fitted jacket buttons at the waistline. The extended shoulders have an outside tuck in front.
