Simplicity 2056; 1947; Girls Dress or Pinafore -- (A "Mother and Daughter Fashion". For "Mother" see Simplicity 2038 A.) The sleeves of Style I are softly gathered and bound at the lower edge. The ruffles on the bodice, the patch pocket and the neck edges are trimmed with lace. Style II is sleeveless. The skirt front is trimmed with lace to suggest an apron effect. Lace trims the two patch pockets and the ruffles on the bodice. The side front and back of the bodice and the sleeves are omitted in Style III. The two patch pockets and ruffles on the bodice are trimmed with rick rack.
