Vintage 1950s girls Dress Pattern from Penelope Rose at Artfire

Simplicity 2068; ca. 1947; Girl's One-Piece Dress. A “Mother and Daughter Fashion”. For Mother see Simplicity 2039. The back buttoning bodice is fitted with waistline darts and joins the gathered skirt at the natural waistline. Ruffling outlines the square yoke. The dress may have puffed sleeves with a ruffled effect at the lower edge, or it may be sleeveless. Style 1 has a high round neckline. Style 2 has a square neckline and is worn with a sash.
