Simplicity 2070; ©1947; Misses' One-Piece Dress: The bodice features an outside tuck at the shoulder front and an underlay at the center front below the neck opening. The skirt, cut in three sections, is gathered at the front waist and fitted with back darts. Shaped side-front pockets finish the dress. A purchased or self belt may be used. In Style I, saddle stitching is used for trimming. The tiny round collar has pointed edges and the sleeves are three-quarter length. Style II, has short sleeves, a Chinese type collar and is accented with top stitching.
