Simplicity 2080; ©1947; The bodice is gathered at the lower edge and fitted with tucks at the shoulder front. Tucks enhance the skirt front and the back is seamed at either side of the center. A front button closing to the hip releases a soft pleat. Style 1 has cape sleeves and a slotted neckline. In Style 2, the neck edge is shaped and the three-quarter sleeves are gathered at the lower edge and fitted with darts at the elbow.
