Simplicity 2099; ©1949; Misses' One-Piece Dress: The back buttoning bodice, fitted with darts, has gathers at the front neck edge and joins the four gored skirt below the natural waistline. Double folds outline the lower edge, and the rounded neck edge is finished with a bias binding. In style 1, a cascade, punctuated with a bow, enhances the skirt back. The sleeves are long and fitted. In style 2, the cascade is omitted and cap sleeves finish the dress.
