Simplicity 2237; ©1947; Girls' Robe & Housecoat: The front-buttoning bodice is fitted with darts at the side front, back shoulder and waistline. The skirt opened in front, falls in an easy flare and joins to the bodice at the natural waistline. A tie belt finishes the robe or housecoat. Style 1 has a Peter Pan collar and a long, cuffed sleeve that is trimmed with binding. In Style 2, lace trims the shaped neckline, short sleeves and gathered pockets.
