Simplicity 2241

Simplicity 2241; ©1947; Girls' One-Piece Dress in Two Lengths: The softly flared skirt joins the bodice front in a shaped neck edge and puffed sleeves finish the back buttoning bodice. Lace may be used to outline the lower edge of the short skirt and neckline. Tie ends which join in the side seams of the bodice form a bow at the center back. Style 2 features a ruffle and ribbon trim to enhance the scooped neckline. A bustle effect is achieved by gathered loops which are joined in the back waistline seam.
