Simplicity 2439; ©1948; Two piece suit. The bodice and gathered peplum of the jacket are seamed down the center front. The slim skirt, cut in four sections, joins to a waistband. In Style 1, the cuffed ¾ sleeve is cut in one with the bodice and the high neckline is open in front. In Style 2, a pointed collar and extended shoulders finish the dress. Classic and gorgeous!
