Simplicity 2444; ©1948; Misses' and Women's Play Suit and Skirt: The bodice front, trimmed with a patch pocket, is gathered at the upper edge. The extended shoulders are cut in one with the yoke and give a cap sleeve effect. An inset belt joins the bodice and pleated shorts. The play suit is finished with a front-button closing. The seven-gore skirt buttons down the front. Style 1 has a convertable collar.
