Simplicity 2476; ©1948;  Misses' and Women's One-Piece Dress and House Dress:  The dress is styled with a bound, scooped-out neckline and extended shoulders.  The skirt, seamed at either side of the center front, features shaped pockets trimmed with ruffling.  Tie ends join to the front inset belt and form a back bow.  Style 1, trimmed with self ruffling, buttons in back from neck to hem.  Style 2 is finished with embroidered edging and a soft pleat is formed in the skirt below the back-buttoning closing.
