Simplicity 2587; late 1940s; Misses' One-Piece Dress or Nurses' Uniform: A shoulder yoke releases soft fullness in the bodice front and back. An inset belt joins the gored skirt to the bodice. Patch pockets and a convertible collar are featured on the front-buttoning dress. Style 1 has long, cuffed sleeves and ribbon tie trims the collar. In Style 2, the short, gathered sleeves are finished with shaped cuffs. Style 3 has short sleeves.

Suggested fabrics: silk, wool or rayon crepe, spun rayon or wool gabardine or flannel, poplin, seersucker, cotton broadcloth, sharkskin, linen, pique, gingham, chambray.
Additional notions required: thread, seam binding, triangular shoulder pads, hooks and eyes, buttons.
The pattern has 15 pieces and 1 instruction sheet.
