Simplicity 2601; ©1948; Girls' Housecoat in two lengths: The flared-back housecoat is styled with two shaped pockets, a Peter Pan collar and long sleeves. Styles 1 and 3 feature front-button closings. In Style 1, the sleeves are trimmed with cuffs. In Style 2, the bow-trimmed neck edge is secured with snaps. A self belt is slipped through the side seams under the back and fastens into a center front bow. Style 2 is made of quilted fabric and is lined at all times. A soft bow accents the collar. A "Mother & Daughter" fashion, for Mother see Simplicity 2600.
