1948: The dart fitted bodice is secured with a back button closing. Tucks release concentrated front fullness in the skirt and a self belt, lowered in back, encircles the waist. In style 1, topstitching accents the belt and cuffs at the long, fitted sleeves. Style 2 features a wing collar, cuffed ¾ length sleeves and a contrasting belt. Note how the belt is wide at the back to give almost a rear peplum effect!
