Simplicity 2657; ©1948; Girl's One-Piece Dress: The bodice front is styled with a shaped yoke which is outlined with ruffling. A button closing secures the back. The dirndl skirt joins the bodice at the natural waistline. Tie ends which join at the sides fasten into a soft back bow. Style 1 features a small collar finished with a ribbon tie. Embroidered edging trims the yoke and lower edge of the long, gathered sleeve which is fitted with elastic at the wrist. Style 2 has a square neckline and puffed sleeves. The yoke is cut of embroidered edging and trimmed with a self fabric ruffle.
