S2687 2

Simplicity 2687; ©1948;  Girls' Blouse and Jumper:  The front-buttoning blouse, fitted with dart tucks and tucks, is gathered at the high, bound neck edge.  The jumper is secured with a button closing down the bodice back which releases a continuous lap opening in the gathered skirt.  In Style 1, the three-quarter sleeve is gathered to an applied band, and a ribbon bow is tacked to the neck edge.  In Style 2, lace trims the puffed sleeve and neck edge.  Ruffling of self fabric accents the lower edge of the jumper.
