Simplicity 2840; ©1949; Teen-Age One-Piece Dress with Detachable Peplum:The dress has a dart-fitted bodice with a scooped-out neckline and a flared skirt cut in 4 sections. Style 1 has a large collar pleated over the shoulder. A ribbon belt encircled the waist. The bound neckline in Style 2 is gathered on each side of the center. Extended shoulders forming cap sleeves are features. The detachable peplum fastens with a tie belt.
