Simplicity 2884; ©1949; Women's One-Piece Sunback Dress and Bolero: Darts at the underarm and tucks at the waistline fit the slim, square-necked bodice. The skirt is cut in six sections and joins to the bodice at the natural waistline. Two patch pockets caught in the side and front seams are featured. A self or purchased belt may be used. The dart-fitted bolero has short, cuffed kimono sleeves. In Style 1 contrast is used for the cuffs of the bolero and pocket bands. In Style 2 the neck edge and upper edges of the pockets are scalloped.
