Simplicity 2889; ©1949; Girl's Top, Skirt and Bloomers: Elastic is inserted through the casing at the neck, sleeves and lower edge of the brief midriff top. The full skirt is gathered to a waistband. Style 1 has a lace trimmed ruffle on the midriff and on the lower edge of the skirt. In Style 2 a double row of rick rack trims the bodice, sleeves and skirt. The gathered upper edge of the bloomers are joined to a waistband and a side opening is featured. Elastic casing finishes the leg edges.
