Simplicity 2914; ©1949; Girl's Pinafore and Panties: The back-buttoned pinafore has a dart-fitted bodice and side-cut skirt. The neckline, heart shaped in front, is deep and square in back. Ruffling trims the armhole edges. Corded piping finishes the front waistline seam and tie ends form a back bow. The leg and upper edge of the panties have casing for elastic. In Style I an eyelet embroidered ruffle tops a contrasting armhole ruffle. The ruffling is repeated on the lower edge of the skirt. In Style 2, lace trims the armhole and skirt ruffles. Pockets finish the skirt in Style 3 and rick rack is used as trimming. 10 pieces.
