Simplicity 2931; ca. 1938; Misses' Daytime and Evening Length Gown. The silhouette that fashion strongly advocates is shown in the cross-over blouse and high waistline of these frocks; blouse is cut to give a becoming softness below the shoulders. Sleeves, full at top , are short or three-quarter length. Dress may be worn with a novelty belt, dainty frilling outlining the surplice and sleeves edges, or, for dancing, with a corsage of flowers and young ribbon streamers.
