Simplicity 2939; ©1949; Junior Misses' and Misses' Two-Piece Suit: The slim skirt, cut in four sections, is styled with slits at the side hem. Darts at the shoulder fit the long-sleeved jacket. Styles 1 and 2 jacket have a front-button closing and turn-down collar. Patch pockets trimmed with flaps, finish the lower front edge of Style 1 and the sleeves turn back to form cuffs. A self or purchased belt may nip in the waistline. Style 2 jacket has slits at the lower edge of the sides. The collarless jacket in Style 3 omits the front-button closing and is finished with flap-trimmed patch pockets at the upper front.
