Simplicity 2947; ©1949; Child's Skirt and Jacket in Two Lengths: The flared skirt, cut in four gores, joins to a waistband adn has a side opening. A pointed collar finishes the lined jacket which is styled with a double-breasted front closing. In Style 1 two large patch pockets trim the front of the long jacket. A self belt stitched to tucks on the jacket, holds in the sides and back. An inverted pleat at the lower back edge, and button trimming on the belt are additional features. Style 2 has a short, box-type jacket.
