A self or purchased belt tops the dirndl skirt which joins to the bodice at the natural waistline. Style 1 dress has large, flap-trimmed patch pockets which button to the skirt. the sleeves are long. A short cape lined in contrast, and finished with a pointed collar, is featured. In Style 2 the short-sleeved bodice is in contrast. A ribbon at the neck is used as trimming.
