Simplicity 2962; ©1949; Misses' Weskit and Jacket: The dart-fitted weskit and jacket come to points below the waistline in front and are finished with a four-button closing. Styles 1 and 3 have a notched collar. In Style 1, the sleeves are short and a half belt finishes the back. The jacket front is in contrast to the rest of the jacket. Style 2 has welt pockets in front and openings at the lower edges of the side seams. Saddle-stitching is used as trimming. In Style 3 the long sleeves are cuffed and a slit at the lower back edge is featured.
