Simplicity 2968; ©1949; Child's Jacket, Hood and Slacks in Two Lengths: The double-breasted box jacket, styled with a convertible collar, is trimmed with top-stitching. Elastic at the waistline fits the slim, cuffed slacks and side pockets outlined with top-stitching are featured. Suspenders crossed in back, hold up the slacks. The snug-fitting hood is gathered at the lower back edge and fastened to a band which is extended to become tie ends in front. The Style 1 slacks are full length. Welt pockets trim the jacket front. Style 2 slacks are three-quarter length.
