Simplicity 2976, ca. 1949; Girls' One-Piece Dress with Detachable Collar and Vestee: The dart-fitted bodice has a four-button back closing and a small collar. The skirt is cut in four gores and falls in an easy flare. Style 1 has short sleeves and a U-shaped yoke. Twelve buttons trim the bodice front which joins to a pointed peplum at the waistline. Tie ends coming from the side seams form a bow in the back. The long sleeves in Style 2 are gathered to wristbands. A vertical tuck trims the contrasting detachable vestee. Two large patch pockets trim the skirt and a self or purchased belt encircles the waist. Saddlestitching is used as trimming.
