Simplicity 2987; ca. 1939; Misses' Dress. Designed with dignity are these youthful gowns. Style 1 has a V neckline with a large, rippling collar. The fitted bodice and full skirt join the hip yoke. Sleeves are short, finished with a band. Fabric bows trim the front. Style II has a square neckline and very full sleeves, shirred on elastic. Large ribbon bows perch on each shoulder. Rick-rack trims the skirt.
