Simplicity 2998; ca. 1939; The simple flared skirt of this frock is a perfect foil for the shirred and draped surplice bodice. The uplifted waistline is achieved by a front yoke. The set-in sleeves may be short, caught at top by a cluster of shirrings, or long.
