The V necked bodice and skirt are in one, cut bias in front and straight in back. Back laps over front at shoulders to give a yoke effect. Style 1 is a dramatic contrast, fullness is held in at waist by a wide belt; short sleeves. Style 2 may have its fullness taken up by a cluster of shirrings at waistline; or be held with a belt. Sleeves are long or short. Side zipper placket; sleeve stiffening for short sleeves.
