Simplicity 3026; ©1949; Children's and Girl's Western Shirt, Skirt and Bolero: The shirt secured in front with buttons or hammer on snap fasteners, has a shoulder yoke outlined with piping and topped with a convertible collar. Sleeves may be short or long and finished with wide piped wristbands The four gored skirt joins to a waistband. In Style 1, suspenders are top-stitched and inserted through loops attached to the waistband. Shaped pockets finished with bias binding trim the front and top stitching outlines the seams. A belt and belt carriers are used in style 2 and top stitching accents the seams. In style 3 the shaped pockets are featured. The sleeveless bolero may be outlined with top stitching.
