1950 - Childrens,- INFANT'S LAYETTE IN ONE SIZE INCLUDING TRANSFER: Style 1, the long dress, has a yoke in front and back and long sleeves gathered to wristbands. Embroidery and lace are used as trimming. Style 2, the short dress, has a front and back yoke and short puffed sleeves. Lace edging is used as trimming. Style 3 is a lined coot with long raglan sleeves finished with cuffs and a Peter Pon collar. The lace-trimmed bonnet is gathered into a small round crown and fastened with tie ends. In Style 4 the sleeves and mittens are cut in one with the bunting. A slide fastener front closing and belt are featured. The hood, gathered by a ribbon, consists of a side, crown and yoke. Styles 5 and 6, the slips, are trimmed with lace at the lower edge. Style 7, the bibs, hove scalloped edges and embroidery trim. Either bias tape or lace edging may be used. In Style 8 the booties ore gathered in front and ribbon is inserted through buttonholes.
