Simplicity 3103; ©1949; Women's One-Piece Dress: Gathers at the waistline and front shoulder release fullness in the bodice, which is styled with a high V neckline. A closing at the back of the neck is featured. Two diagonal tucks trim the front of the bodice. The skirt, which joins the bodice at the natural waistline, has three diagonal tucks across the front. Soft pleats beneath the tucks release fullness on the side of the skirt. A self or purchased belt encircles the waistline. Style 1 has three-quarter sleeves finished with cuffs. A self fabric bow is used as trimming on one shoulder. In Style 2 the short sleeves are shaped at the lower edge.
