Simmplicity 3148; ©1949; Child's One-Piece Dress: The bodice, fastened with a three-button back opening, joins the dirndl skirt at the natural waistline. Tie ends start at the side seams and form a soft bow in back. Style 1 has a contrasting front yoke with a small pointed collar. The short puffed sleeves are finished with a bias binding. Embroidered braid trims the front waistline, yoke seam and skirt pockets. In Style 2 the yoke has a square neckline. Lace beading and lace edging trim the neck, front yoke seam, waistline, sleeves and pockets. Ribbon is pulled through the binding. The panties have elastic at the leg and waistline.
