Simplicity 3157, 1939. Misses' Housecoat or Dress. Very versatile in this pattern. Bodice is fitted, skirt is loose and flaring. As a house coat, it may be fastened all the way down front or buttoned at bodice. Sleeves may be long or short. The collars and cuffs and pockets are smart in contrast. As a dress, it has short sleeves, is slide fastened at front.
