Simplicity 3190; ©1950; Women's One-Piece Sun Dress and Bolero: The fitted bodice has a deep U-shaped neckline in front and back. Patch pockets with turn-down flaps and top-stitching trim the bolero and the skirt which is cut in four sections. A shawl collar and short sleeves are features of the bolero. In Style 1 the front-button closing continues to the hem. Top-stitching is used as trimming. In Style 2 dress, the front-button closing extends only to the hipline, and a pleat continues from below the last buttonhole to the hemline.
