Simplicity 3244; ©1950; CHILD'S BATHING SUIT, SKIRT AND BOLERO: A bias fold trims the bodice which is joined to the short flared skirt. The opening at center back is finished with a slide fastener. The panties, fitted with narrow elastic, are attached to the bodice facing. A separate overskirt is joined to a sash that ties in a bow at the back. The short sleeved bolero in Style I is entirely faced and trimmed with two small rounded pockets. Style II has a contrasting bias fold.
