Simplicity 3597; ©1951; Misses' One-Piece Dress. A "Mother and Daughter" Fashion: for Daughter's pattern, see Simplicity 3598. A gathered dart seam gives fullness to the bodice. The sleeves are cut in one with the dress. The four gored skirt is circular. Rick rack braid, applied in scallops, trims Style 1. The scalloped edges of skirt and bodice in Style 2 are stitched to contrast bands. The armhole edges turn back to form cuffs.
