Simplicity 3757; ©1941; Misses' and Women's Shirtmaker Dress and Jacket. The well tailored dress, finished with a convertible collar, closed in front with four buttons. The straight skirt has inverted pleats in back and front. In Style I - the figure fitting jacket is closed at the waistline with a single button. The contrasting, three-quarter length sleeves are faced with the dress material to form contrasting, turn-back cuffs. In Style II, the jacket is made without contrast and closes at the waistline with bow-knot over a button. The long sleeves dart-fitted at the elbow. Back and front yokes are faced, but the jacket may be lined or unlined.
