Simplicity 3822; ©1940; MISSES'AND WOMEN'S DRESS AND JACKET. An interesting yoke of top-stitched bands trims the bodice of this smartly tailored dress. There is no waistline seam and a belt extends from the pointed seams of the bodice front and buttons in back. A concealed slide fastener closes the dress at the center front Long or short sleeves may be used. The jacket front, made with a yoke effect of bond trimming to match the dress, closes at the waistline with link buttons. The jacket is unlined and long sleeves are dart-fitted at the armhole.
